THE SNOWY EGRET'S
YELLOW FEET

Several times Snowy Egrets have appeared in these Newsletters, for during summers they're common through much of the southern US. I wouldn't mention seeing them at "Flamingo Lake" but for the fact that I got the above good picture showing the species' distinctive yellow feet at the bottom of black legs -- features that quickly distinguish Snowy Egrets from other white, long-legged waders.
